The season 2 am end with a brief scene where we see Nate oversee football training with Rupert, the former husband of Rebekah.
So, first of all, what’s the fate of AFC Richmond? Despite not winning their last game of the season against Brentford, the team manage to tie the score after a Dani Rojas penalty. A draw is all that is needed for AFC Richmond to get enough points to be promoted to the Premier League. So, after spending a season relegated to the Championship League, our favorite team is back in the highest league in English football. Roy and Keeley seemed like a perfect couple, but cracks appeared in their relationship. While the couple haven’t officially broken up, the fact that Keeley is saying she’s too busy to join Roy on a celebratory romantic vacation does not seem to bode well.
She insists that everything is fine, but Roy can’t help but ask if they are going their separate ways or not. We last see him deep in thought after Keeley walks away from the conversation, which tells us that all is not well in their relationship.
If not immediately, it seems increasingly certain that the couple will eventually go their separate ways. That’s not to say we should expect Keeley to get back together with Jamie. Considering that she admires Rebecca one might see Keeley adopting a similar personality and focusing on her personal and professional journey without being tied to a partner.
