Reacher Season 2: Episode 3-8 Release Date! When Do the New Episodes Come Out on Prime Video?

Reacher Season 2 has finally arrived and with it, Prime Video released the first three episodes. Born from the pen of Lee Child, this investigation will cover the events of the eleventh book of the Jack Reacher saga. The first three will be available together on December 15th, while for the other five episodes, you will have to wait from week to week as happens, for example on Disney Plus. Therefore, episode number four will arrive on December 22nd, five on the 29th, six on January 5, 2024, and seven on January 12, and Reacher Season 2 will close the season on January 19, 2024, precisely after eight episodes.

Based on Bad Luck and Trouble (Bad Luck and Trouble), the eleventh novel in Lee Child’s worldwide best-selling series, the second season finds Alan Ritchson in the lead role of protagonist Jack Reacher, who receives a coded message informing him that a member of his former Army unit, the Special Investigation of the 110th MP, they will be mysteriously and brutally killed one by one. A product on which Amazon Prime Video is focusing given that Reacher has already been renewed for the third season even before the second can debut and that Prime monitors its approval by the public. But the premises indicate that this new round of episodes could repeat the success of the first eight.

What Reacher Season 2 is About?

The second season of Reacher is based on Cold Revenge (Bad Luck and Trouble), the eleventh novel in the Lee Child series, and begins when the former police detective Military Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson) receives a coded message informing him that a member of his former Army unit, the 110th MP’s Special Investigation Unit, will be mysteriously and brutally killed one by one. Torn from his wanderings, Reacher reunites with three of his former comrades, who have become a family of choice, to investigate: Frances Neagley (Maria Sten), Karla Dixon (Serinda Swan), a forensic accountant for whom Reacher has long had a weak; and David O’Donnell (Shaun Sipos), a fast-talking, switchblade-wielding family man.

Together, they begin to piece the puzzle of a mystery in which the stakes become increasingly higher which leads them to wonder who betrayed them and who will be the next to die. Using his inimitable blend of intelligence and strength, Reacher will stop at nothing to uncover the truth and protect his fellow unit members. If there’s one thing Reacher and his team know for sure, it’s that you don’t mess with the Special Investigations Unit. This season, get ready to see Reacher and his Unit hit hard.

The Cast of Reacher Season 2

The new season sees Alan Ritchson again in the main role of Jack Reacher, with Maria Sten, Serinda Swan, and Shaun Sipos as members of the 110th MP’s Special Investigation Unit. The cast is completed by Ferdinand Kingsley in the role of A.M., a mercenary that Internal Security defines as a “ghost”; Robert Patrick as Shane Langston, head of security for a private defense contractor with a questionable past; and Domenick Lombardozzi as tough NYPD detective Guy Russo. Reacher is produced by Amazon Studios, Skydance Television, and Paramount Television Studios. Based on the novels by Lee Child, here also in the role of executive producer, the series is written for television by Emmy-nominated screenwriter Nick Santora (Scorpion, Prison Break), who is also executive producer and showrunner. In addition to Santora and Child, Don Granger, Scott Sullivan, and Adam Higgs also serve as executive producers, with David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Matt Thunell for Skydance.
