After Singh threatens to kill his son, Big John is forced to set off an explosion to permanently close off the road to El Dorado. Ironically, Singh dies in the explosion as he tries to stop it with all his might.

What Happened with Ward and Big John?

In a desperate attempt to preserve the life he has built for himself and his family, Ward nearly drowned Sarah in season two. He now seeks repentance in Season 3, detesting the man he has become due to his obsession and greed. He is also horrified by how his actions affect the lives of his children.
