Triptych Ending Explained: Who Is The Biological Mother of The Triplets?

Triptych aka (Triada), a Mexican drama-thriller on Netflix that follows Rebecca (Maite Perroni), a coroner who begins an investigation to discover the truth about her origins after discovering that she has two identical sisters, is based on real-life events. Leticia López-Margalli’s fiction opens with Aleida Trujano, president of a large international corporation that hires high-level executives, entering a building with weapons in search of Julia Bátiz, a psychologist. She asks the police to call the media when they arrive at the scene, but one of the officers shoots her down before she can do so. Rebecca arrives at the location to complete her work, but when she notices that it is a woman who is the same as her and who also called her by her name shortly before she lost consciousness, she becomes very confused and has several unanswered questions, which will be answered in the eight episodes of Triptych that air over the next few days.

Triptych Season 1: The Story Plot

Becca (Maite Perroni) leads a normal life, between home and the prosecutor’s office, until a woman identical to her, named Aleida, is killed. A shocking encounter begins to grip her thoughts. Aided by her intuition and a series of psychic connections that seem to tie her to Aleida, Becca discovers she has twin sisters: she and Tamara, a Cubist with a suspicious past. Determined to seek as much information as possible, she asks for the help of her colleague Umberto (David Chocarro), with whom she also shares the pastime under the sheets. Meanwhile, Becca decides to be joined by Julia (Nuria Bages), the psychologist who was treating Aleida, with the hope of being able to understand what lies behind their past. However, her investigations will lead her to obscure the truth and a disturbing experiment.

Becca learns from a DNA test that Aleida is her twin sister, but before she can talk to her to get answers, she learns that Aleida has died. The coroner sneaks into the house of her brother-in-law Eugenio Sáenz to get more information. There is another woman who looks like her. Becca’s sister Tamara, whom the detective meets with, always seems to know more than she admits, but she doesn’t seem interested in finding out the truth about where she came from. As a result, Becca continues her investigation on her own. Dr. Bátiz and her boyfriend Humberto, who is also a police officer, are two of the people who offer to assist her.

While Becca finds that there are numerous happenstances in her day-to-day existence and that of her sisters: Eugenio persuades Tamara to pretend to be Aleida to regain control of her business after they were monitored and talked to a psychologist. They lost their parents almost on the same day. Becca asks Pilar to let her into the hospital basement, guided by one of her visions. She finds there is something just as devastating as the results. It would appear that the main characters in Triptych are part of a study that is testing identical twins and triplets. Because her father participated in the experiment, Becca is certain that Eugenio Sáenz is to blame for everything. The situation, on the other hand, becomes increasingly sinister as the truth emerges, and the distinctions between what is actual and what is planned blur.

Who Is Behind the Experiments?

Becca asks Dr. Bátiz for help after learning that the social worker who told her about her past was killed. However, she sees a picture of her with Dr. Meyer in her office, so she decides to run away and calls Humberto. He takes her and Tamara to a safe house. However, Humberto is employed by Julia Bátiz, the individual who is in charge of the Triada project as well as everything else that has transpired in the lives of the three sisters. After being discovered, the plan is to imprison Becca and Tamara and continue their experiment.

Julia decides to carry on Meyer’s work after meeting Dr. Sáenz and uses in vitro fertilization to conceive identical triplets—Becca, Tamara, and Aleida are her children. Eugenio, on the other hand, looks for Humberto to locate the dancer and coroner without imagining that he is dealing with an adversary. He tries to stop the detective when he realizes what he wants to do in the middle of the road. A car accident marks the conclusion of the argument.

Do The Triplets Manage To Escape From Their Mother?

Alieda, who is still alive and was locked in the same house, breaks free and short-circuits, allowing her sisters to escape before Julia can begin the next phase of the experiment. They meet Eugenio, who is reunited with his wife Aleida, as they flee in a van. What took place with Humberto? Although his body was not found, he may be still alive. He appears to have passed away in the accident. Dr. Bátiz, where are you? She was imprisoned by triplets in her house’s basement.
