Sardar Movie Review and Analysis

Every director has different strengths. Rajamouli’s strength is emotion, Shankar’s strength is grandeur, and Rajkumar Hirani’s strength is being able to say something so strong that everyone can understand it and laugh. Also Sardar director PS Mithran has a strength. Same detailing. Mitran’s specialty is to speak about the topic he wants to talk about without discussing it superficially and leaving it to be understood thoroughly. Mithran, who made films like Abhimanyudu on technology and Hero (Shakti in Telugu) on the education system, this time chose water, one of the Panchabhutas, as the plot. That is why he concentrated on selling water instead of water pollution and factories. Water that was once free is now being bought and drunk. From the situation of drinking any water without fear, we have come to the days of drinking only mineral water. He touched on such frightening truths in this movie. After seeing Abhimanyu, many people were afraid to use smartphones. Also, after watching this movie, you will think of drinking bottled water.

He added a spy background to the water-selling concept and made the movie more interesting. ‘We have created a rumor that the pond that supplies water to 400 villages is poisoned. Do they drink the water of that pond? If you put the same water in a bottle and cover it, they will pay more and buy more.’ Such dialogues reflect the current situation. The movie starts with a funny show of Karthi doing small things for publicity. The hunt for Sardar, Laila’s fight against the water companies, and Karti’s tracks run parallel for a while. Until then, the movie goes on like time pass. The story turns serious when Laila’s fight joins Sardar’s hunt. And since the death of Laila’s character comes to Karthi, the movie goes racy. The scenes where Karti sees himself in Laila’s son, who is branded as a traitor, are emotional. Sardar’s character introduction fight before the interval takes the movie graph to a new high.

Sardar Telugu

In the second half, some scenes and songs in the flashback of Sardar’s character hinder the progress of the story. But after the flashback, the movie picks up again. The scenes of Sardar returning to the country and finding out who his real enemy is are racy. From there the film takes a full action track. PS Mitran’s mark detailing is also seen in the action scenes. The highlight is connecting the dialogue to the climax which is not even mentioned anywhere in the film. Background music by GV Prakash Kumar is a big plus point for this movie. Jeevee took the action and emotional scenes to the next level. Reuben’s editing should have been sharper. Some scenes in flashback can be trimmed. The cinematography by George C. Williams is impressive. You can tell by looking at the visuals that Prince Pictures has made this film without any expense spared.

Like Abhimanyudu this story is also related to social issues. It seems very unique. A trap that we are unknowingly falling into is issuing a warning about our dangerously changing future. We used to drink clean water from ponds, rivers, and wells and live healthy life. Now we are drinking water in bottles, cans, and tanks. The basic plot of ‘Sardar’ is to say that all this is the merit of the water mafia. The movie has indeed shown this matter a little exaggerated. But after watching this movie, it is sure to think for a moment while drinking water from a water bottle. If you are discussing this point here, you would be mistaken if you think that this is a documentary type of film. Director Mithran said these things in a very exciting way while following the commercial meter. Sardar Before going into the actual story, the introductory scenes of the hero are a bit boring with some ordinary scenes. But when the actual story starts, it starts running.

The audience gets arrested as soon as the villain comes on screen. The scenes that the director has researched a lot about the water mafia’s attempt to keep all the water resources in the country under their control, the ill effects of water bottles, etc. are surprising. Thought-provoking. A bit scary too. Although the narration seems a bit confusing, the mystery surrounding Laila’s character is impressive. And with the build-up given about the character of Sardar, the audience will be extremely curious about it. The director did not give the usual elevation to the character before the interval. Although it seems like an exaggeration for a 60-year-old man to be so excited, the interval block has been designed to give goosebumps to the mass audience.

The second half is also interesting with the flashback of the spy Sardar’s character. His secret missions his personal life until finally he was labeled as a traitor and imprisoned in a foreign country. After coming to the present, the episode where Sardar escapes from there is also very explosive. After a stage, the character of Young Karti is completely sidelined and we see only Sardar Pratap. The character engages the audience till the end. Without missing the interest in terms of the story, the movie moves forward with thrilling scenes from time to time. Pre-climax, The massiveness in the climax scenes is impressive. The scope of the story is too much. The narration is a bit confusing here and there so not everything is understandable. Although there are small problems like the length increases. Sardar thrills the audience. It never fails to amaze me. Sardar succeeds in giving a different feel without missing commercial values.

Sardar Movie

As Karthi is not stuck in one image frame, different stories come to him from time to time Khaidi now Sardar can make films that stand as milestones in his career. Karthi’s role in ‘Sardar’. No wonder other heroes are jealous of his performance. He played a character that had such depth and could show variations. Although he seems normal in the young character, Karthi gave a great performance in the role of Sardar. Such roles are rare for star heroes. His dominance is visible throughout the film. Chunky Pandey has done well as the villain. Among the heroines, Rajisha Vijayan was impressed by her short screen time. Rashi Khanna is fine. Munish Kant impresses in the supporting role. The boy who played the role of a small child will be remembered. Laila shines after years in a supporting role.

Sardar Movie Review: The Last Words

GV Prakash Kumar brought life to Sardar with his background score. How he gave goosebumps in the elevation scenes. He drove with RR to get absorbed in the crucial scenes of the story. Songs are not given much importance in the film. They don’t seem to matter. George C. Williams’ cinematography is another technical highlight of the film. Along with the production values, George’s camera work also played a key role in making the film look very rich. Writer-cum-director P.S.Mithran has once again made his mark. It becomes clear that he did not take ‘Sardar’ out of haste… he did not take it after the film started. How much effort the director has put into the story-telling is seen on the screen. The way he has shaped the story by linking it with international elements… the way he has moved the film forward with an interesting screenplay is pleasing.
