Bridgerton Season 2: Netflix Has Announced The Release Date Of The Second Season

Through a video announcement Netflix has revealed that the second season of Bridgerton Season 2 will arrive on the streaming platform on March 25th. Bridgerton’s second season   will feature Julia Quinn’s second book The Viscount Who Loved Me. Here we follow the adventures of Anthony Bridgerton, who in the series has the face of Jonathan Bailey. Bridgerton’s first season had great results on Netflix. In the first 28 days of programming, the series was seen by approximately 63 million subscribers. Bridgerton’s first season made its Netflix debut exactly one year ago, December 25, 2020. The series is created by Chris Van Dusen and produced by Shonda Rhimes. In the cast, Jonathan Bailey, Ruby Barker, Harriet Cains, Regé-Jean Page, Jessica Madsen and Julie Andrews.

Bridgerton 2 has a release date on Netflix on March 25, 2022 the second season of the series will arrive on the streaming platform, after the success of the first, which has been talked about a lot.

The new additions to the cast of Bridgerton‘s second season   will be:  Shelley Conn (The Chocolate Factory, Terra Nova), Calam Lynch (Dunkirk, Derry Girls), Charithra Chandran (Alex Rider) and Rupert Young (Merlin, The Secret Garden). Shelly Conn will play Mary Sharma, the daughter of an Earl whose marriage caused the family to fall into scandal. Calam Lynch will play Theo Sharpe, the assistant to a printer who will fight for the rights of all; Rupert Young will play Jack, a noble from a family as well-known as the Bridgertons. The character is an original creation from the TV series and is not featured in the books. Charithra Chandran will finally be Edwina, a woman whom Anthony Bridgerton will decide to marry. If there are no changes in the order of use of the novels, Bridgerton’s third season should be based on the novel A Gentleman’s Proposal and dedicated to Benedict (Luke Thompson). While the fourth would have Colin (Luke Newton) in the center from the novel A Man to Conquer.
