Netflix has set the release date for season 2 of the live-action series Fate: The Winx Saga which debuted on the streaming platform in early 2021. During the recent Netflix Geeked Week, a preview of Fate: The Winx Saga was unveiled 2 with Paulina Chavez as Flora. The announcement of the renewal of Fate came a few weeks after the show’s debut on Netflix, a sign of the satisfaction that the show has met with the audience of the platform.
Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2 Release Date
Alongside Chavez in the cast of Fate: The Winx Saga 2 we will see Abigail Cowen as Bloom, Hannah van der Westhuysen as Stella and Precious Mustapha will play Aisha, while Eliot Salt and Elisha Applebaum will respectively be Terra and Musa. Additionally, there will be Danny Griffin, Sadie Soverall, Freddie Thorp, Theo Graham, Jacob Dudman, Brandon Grace, Robert James-Collier, Ken Duken and Éanna Hardwicke.
They will be joined by some new entries such as Miranda Richardson (Good Omens) who will take over the role of the principal Rosalind and Daniel Betts who will be Professor Harvey. And it is only at the end of July that the cast announces the very close release date of Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2 which will debut on September 16th, 2022.
Created by Brian Young (The Vampire Diaries), the Netflix series is a live-action adaptation of the Italian animated show Winx Club by Iginio Straffi and brings to the small screen the story of the five fairies who attend Alfea’s school of magic, where they learn to use their powers to defeat all monsters that threaten their existence. In season 2 of Fate: The Winx Saga, the fairies will return to Alfea and will have to solve some mysterious nocturnal disappearances, whose perpetrators could create havoc in the Underworld.
