Thor Love and Thunder Ending Explained: All Against Gorr
This fourth Thor film introduces us to a lost God of Thunder, who can’t find himself, not even traveling with the Guardians of the Galaxy. When a ruthless butcher of gods, now disillusioned with their indifference, decides to decimate them, Thor returns to Asgard. Here he finds Jane, his old flame, wielding his old weapon, Mjolnir. The woman has stage four cancers and her hammer has called her to itself, making her the Mighty Thor.
During Thor Love and Thunder, we then see Thor, Valkyrie, Korg, and the Mighty Thor looking for Gorr, who moves among the shadows and who has kidnapped all the children of Asgard. When they finally find him they ask Zeus and the council of the gods for help, but finding no allies in them, they steal the bolt of the Greek god and go to the Shadow Dimension.
How Does Thor End Love and Thunder: Jane Dies?
After a defeat of the heroes, which leads Gorr to obtain Stormbreaker to open a portal that leads him to Eternity, a deity capable of granting the wish of his first visit, we return to Asgard. Valkyrie is badly injured, and Jane realizes that Mjolnir is giving her a new life, but that she is accelerating the progression of her disease. Gorr is getting closer and closer to fulfilling his desire: the extinction of all divine creatures.
Thor goes alone to face Gorr, and frees the children, giving them his powers thanks to the lightning bolt of Zeus. When the worst is about to happen, and the Necrospada of the Slaughterer of Gods is about to kill him, Mighty Thor arrives to save him. The two manage to get the better of the wicked villain and save the children. However Jane falls annihilated by the continued use of Mjolnir, and Thor is unable to stop Gorr, who arrives from Eternity.
Here the god of thunder explains to the villain that all he has always sought is love and that all he can ask of Eternity is that his daughter, who died at the beginning of the film due to the negligence of the gods, can return. Gorr regrets her actions and decides to follow Thor’s advice while Jane, now dying, assures him that there will be someone to be with her when Gorr is dead. So the little girl returns, just as Jane dies and is reduced to golden dust, and joins the rest of the Asgardians in Valhalla. Gorr dies, and Thor and the child are left alone.
The Future of Love and Thunder
After some time on Asgard Valkyrie is training all the children in a self-defense course. Korg decided to mate with a similar one, merging into a lava lake to give birth to a new Kronan. The city reveres Mighty Thor, to whom a statue has been dedicated. Meanwhile, Thor is traveling the galaxy with the little daughter of Gorr, endowed with the powers of Eternity. The two along with Mjolnir and Stormbreaker must go out on a mission, and defend some nice aliens. So how does Thor Love and Thunder end? Precisely with our Love and Thunder, who with their respective weapons hurl themselves on the enemies, ready to become an unstoppable duo?
Who is Eternity the Marvel character?
As they have explained to us several times in the Marvel comics, Eternity is an abstract entity that embodies the same Marvel universe along with Infinity, it’s “sister” counterpart with whom eternity is one. Their authority over Earth-616 is surpassed only by the Living Tribunal. Eternity is also the personification of time. It is important to note that every universe in the Marvel Multiverse manifests as an anthropomorphic being called Eternity. Eternity is sometimes described as the total of all life and all things that exist in the universe.
Eternity over the years has only manifested itself on occasions of imminent and particularly serious threats to the universe, such as the actions of Dormammu or Thanos. But things have changed over the years, there have been several occasions to come into contact with Eternity. Such as with the trial of Mr. Fantastic or in some adventures of Doctor Strange. Henry Pym also met Eternity.
The Powers of Eternity
Eternity is an entity that we can define as almost omnipotent. Indeed, it can manipulate time, space, matter, energy, magic or reality. It is also capable of physically manifesting itself as any force that lives in the terrestrial dimension.
