The Matrix Resurrections (Matrix 4) will bring Neo back to the world, with a different version of Morpheus, new characters and a series of resurrections that give the film its name and connect it with the events of the last of the original Wachowski sisters trilogy, where Neo ends up sacrificing his life to save humanity from the control of the machines. The first Matrix movie hit theaters in 1999, with an incredible story that made us doubt our own reality and with a series of brutal world-changing special effects that the Wachowskis devised to help Neo fly, fight and stand up to computer programs that wanted to keep humans enslaved.
