Zombieverse: The New Official Trailer of The New Korean Netflix Series
A few minutes ago, Netflix released the new official trailer for Zombieverse, the new, completely unedited entertainment series arriving on August 8. South Korean reality is that the competitors will have to face hordes of zombies trying to recover supplies and complete the missions that will be assigned to them. Whoever gets bitten is eliminated, in a challenge that promises fun and adrenaline, also because the various zombie extras have been trained by the choreographers of The Kingdom series and will therefore be realistic.
All About Zombieverse Reality Series
In partnership with Kakoa Entertainment, Netflix is ramping up its Zombie content with the fascinating new reality series Zombieverse. The series will see a series of South Korean entertainers who will find themselves in the heart of Seoul amid a Zombie Apocalypse and will have to fight for survival. Coming to Netflix shortly, here’s everything we know about the Zombieverse so far.
Netflix is no stranger to zombie content on its platform, especially that from South Korea. In recent years, some of the most popular movies and shows from South Korea have been zombie-themed horrors. Kingdom blew our minds with its incredible scope and cinematography, #Alive arrived at the height of the pandemic just as we were all trapped inside, and All of Us Are Dead took the world by storm and was rewarded with a second season. However, we have yet to see a reality series based on the popular subgenre of horror. Until today. In fact, in August, “Zombieverse” will arrive on Netflix, an exciting new reality show that is sure to be a hit.
What is Zombieverse?
Zombieverse is a reality series set in the heart of the South Korean capital Seoul, where a group of survivors must work together to survive as they search for food, water, transportation, and shelter. Each day the contestants are given tasks to complete to earn the supplies they need, but if any of them get “bitten” they must be left behind. Netflix subscribers will be even more thrilled to know that the All of Us Are Dead art team is working on the project and that all of the extras hired to play the Zombies have been trained by the same choreographers from the Kingdom.
Who Are In the Cast of Zombieverse?
There are a few familiar faces on the list of survivors who will take part in Zombieverse. Sweet Home fans will recognize actress Lee Si Young, who played Seo Yi Kyung in Season 1 and will return for Seasons 2 and 3. Noh Hong Chul is a popular Korean TV entertainer, best known for appearing in the series The Hungry and the Hair. Park Na Rae is a South Korean DJ and comedian, former star of the reality series New World.
Kim Cheol, aka DinDin, is a South Korean rapper and television personality. Fukutomi Tsuki is a Japanese singer of the girl group Billie and a former member of the Japanese girl group 7+ME LINK. Yoo Hee Kwan is a South Korean baseball player who plays for the Doosan Bears. Youtube character Jonathan will also star in the series. Jonathan has previously starred in an episode of the Netflix series Racket Boys. Patricia, a Congolese YouTube personality and TV entertainer, will be one of the contestants. The last survivor of the series is Hong Seong Woo, a South Korean urologist, professor, and YouTuber.
