You Season 4: New Images Of The Netflix Series And Confirmed New Look of Joe Goldberg

You Season 4: Since its original premiere in 2018, the You series has become one of the great Netflix phenomena. That first season completely revolutionized the subscribers of the streaming platform: Is it possible to feel empathy for a stalker? Under that question, the story doubled its bet and premiered in two more seasons that changed both its locations and its cast. And the fourth installment will be no different in that regard.

You Season 4 First Look

The series revolves around Joe Goldberg: what begins as a dream meeting between a young writer and a bookstore salesman turns into a dark obsession that reveals that -in reality- this man is obsessive and dangerous. Based on the novel by Caroline Kepnes, the adaptation first introduced Beck (Elizabeth Lail), before giving way to Love (Victoria Pedretti).

Spoiler alert! The end of the third season has left everything served for a renewal of the series. It is that its protagonist finally murdered Love, her partner. That’s not all: the house they shared in a new town exploded, he left her son in the hands of an acquaintance and he ran away to Paris to start the search for her new obsession: Marienne (Tati Gabrielle). In this way, the fourth part will take place in Europe, precisely in locations in London, completely changing the identity of the series.

This means a new beginning for Joe Goldberg, the character of Penn Badgley who will leave his past behind, probably to adopt a different identity. This Tuesday, Netflix resumed the recordings of the series and revealed new details of this season on the way. His change of look is a fact: his hair has a different style, he let his beard grow and now he wears a suit. But the gist repeats itself, as on-set photos show Joe chasing another woman in a skimpy dress.
