You Season 3: Did Sherry And Cary Die?
Sherry and Cary are a powerful couple who embody all the superficial and perfect aspects of the idyllic neighborhood in which Joe and Love reside. Sherry is the queen of social networks and the leader of the “popular gang”. Whereas Cary is the alpha male par excellence, who calls himself a feminist and believes that everything must be “hacked” to be effective. Trouble begins when the couple invite Joe and Love to try their swinger lifestyle, and a group love session between the four is arranged.
Sherry lets it slip that Joe is probably cheating on his wife. Love, enraged, then leaves the couple imprisoned with a gun, saying that one of them must shoot the other to be released. Tension builds when a bullet fired by Cary accidentally grazes Sherry’s ear. Things get worse when she shoots him in the leg. But the two end up talking to each other and realize that their relationship is based on mutual respect and love. They also find out that Joe and Love don’t trust each other and that one of them had to hide a master key in the vault.
As Cary loses blood, his wife frantically turns over all the shelves in the precinct. Eventually, they find the key and manage to get out. The fact that Joe or Love hid the key to the door in the same vault shows how fragile their relationship is.
They both suspect that the other might try to hold them captive or even murder them, so they prepared for this eventuality by hiding the key. However, this time around, this key allows Sherry and Cary to escape with their lives. At the end of Season 3, we see that the couple have used this experience to build a dating counseling empire. Far from being dead, the shock couple seem to have gotten away with living the experience of death.
