Yellowstone Season 4 Episode 6 Ending Explained
Towards the end of episode 6 of Yellowstone John corrects his past mistake by having the rule of banning girls in the dorm restored. Rip asks Teeter and Laramie to leave the dorm and learns that Mia is already gone. It appears that John also intends to fire one of Lloyd and Walker. The two men fight, and both end up being exhausted. Lloyd, whose bad temper sparked the whole conflict, ends up being the last man standing. Rip is forced to beat Lloyd once more. He serves as an example for anyone considering breaking the rules of the ranch.
However, in the end, John doesn’t fire either Lloyd or Walker. On the contrary, their struggle allows men to express their dislike for each other. The fight serves as a means of communication for the two men who end up getting along. This is a bold move on John’s part, which once again proves why he is a seasoned breeder.
All while giving viewers a classic western fight to enjoy. John’s wisdom leaves a mark on young Carter, who wishes to become like Patriarch Dutton. Listening to Garrett’s response, Jamie bursts into tears and hugs his father. It appears Jamie has sided with Garrett, who, although he claims to act out of love for Jamie, has his own secret intentions. He has managed to manipulate Jamie and projects his feelings of hatred towards John onto his son. On the other hand, Jamie has never known someone who went so far as to commit murder for him and perceives that as his father’s love.
