Who Is Kang The Conqueror? Marvel Studios has everything planned for the next few years in theaters and streaming. And it is that after the announcement at the San Diego ComicCon, the UCM has a pretty good future. With movies like Thunderbolts and Captain America: New World Order; and announced series such as Daredevil: Born Again, Kevin Feige blew fans away. But also because of the announcement of the next Avengers movies in 2025, which will be called The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars. Precisely the first of these titles raises doubts in fans of the latest Avengers movies, all focused on who Kang is.

The truth is that it is already announced that Kang the Conqueror will be the villain of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, with actor Jonathan Majors, known for films like Harder Will the Fall and the Lovecraft Country series, playing the role. But beware because this character was already announced in the Loki series.

Who is Kang the Conqueror?

Also known as “The Conqueror“, Kang was born on Earth-6311 in the 30th century. Nathaniel Richards, his first name, discovered part of a time machine left by his namesake and ancestor of Earth-616, a man who brought peace to the world of young Nathaniel as the Benefactor. Before this discovery, Nathaniel studied robotics and the interdimensional variations of Earth-616 (our Earth to be clear), brought into its reality by the Benefactor. Learning all he could, Kang could not resist the temptation to find all means to become a supreme lord of the time-space continuum.

Does Kang Have Superpowers?

No. Kang, however, has an indomitable will and intelligence superior to normal. He learned how to use the Benefactor’s time device and became an expert in the advanced technology of his future self, creating battle armor that endowed him with what appear to be superhuman abilities. His armor allowed him to compete in battle with anyone, including those who had superpowers. In addition, he is immune to the effects of radiation (like others from his birth time), which allows him to age much more slowly. Great dedication to work and strategist skills also helped him become a warlord, as did his skills in bodyweight combat.

Where Is Kang Located In Space-Time?

Ravonna later understood his love for Kang and saved his life from a traitorous commander in his ranks. Putting her into a kind of stasis, Kang eventually found the means to save her before her death, but in doing so he created a divergent reality in which Kang died instead. Peering through time, she also discovered that her time exploration of her had caused more divergent realities and more versions of Kang lying down to confront.

Then, after the Council of Kangs destroyed itself, the Council of Kangs Cross-Time arrived and invited Kang Prime to join. We can’t forget his younger self of him who joined the Young Avengers as Iron Lad and attempted to stop his older variant from becoming Kang the Conqueror… Only time will tell how many of the other thousands of Kangs will make their existence known.

In the MCU:

Kang the Conqueror was introduced in the Loki series, with a small appearance as a statue that made it understood that he was the new leader of the TVA, an organization that takes care of the timeline. This happened after Sylvie, a variant of Loki, killed the One who remains (keeper of time and leader of the TVA). This changed things in the timeline and allowed one of the more evil variants of this man played by Jonathan Majors to control the TVA.
