Two (Dos) Ending Explained: Who Is The Manager?
Gathering the clues, Sara concluded that her husband had sewn her up to a strange man because she was cheating on him. Mario, as Sara revealed, had obsessively researched the significance of the number two. Therefore, sewing them both together was his way of punishing them. As David was an escort girl, he was also a transgressor like her and Mario sewed them together because they were bound by debauchery.
They realized that every time they kissed, the lights in the room went out. Thinking it was because Mario didn’t like them kissing, they went all the way to upset him. It was then that a man resembling Mario entered. David and Sara kicked the man and rushed out the door to get out and get help. Outside the room, they saw newspaper clippings on the wall about the birth of Siamese twins as well as a photo of Rita, the mother.
The articles revealed that the father suffered from paranoid schizophrenia and that the mother had died in childbirth. It didn’t take much thought for David and Sara to realize they were the twins, separated by postpartum surgery. After realizing their disgust at their situation, they entered a room filled with dogs that had been stitched together. The piece contained newspaper clippings about the Bunker Twins, two of the most studied humans of the 19th century.
At the end of Dos, it is revealed that the man who sewn David and Sara together was their schizophrenic father. This man was convinced that, like the Bunker twins, his children were meant to be tied together. During an altercation, Sara shoots the father and accidentally shoots David. Finally, using a letter opener, in a horribly graphic scene, Sara cuts the suture that connected them. Once free, she finds the exit to save herself and David, but realizes that they are in the middle of nowhere. Without any help or clothes, Sara breathes her last on the snowy ground as David succumbs to his wound inside the shelter. The two went into cardiac arrest in a yin and yang position.
