HBO has released the first images of Jodie Foster in True Detective Season 4: Night Country, the fourth season of the crime genre anthology series. The protagonist of The Silence of the Lambs plays detective Liz Danvers, who together with detective Evangeline Navarro ( Kali Reis ) tries to solve the case of six men who manage the Tsalal Arctic research station and disappear into thin air, leaving no trace, when The long winter night falls on Ennis, Alaska. The two detectives will have to investigate the darkness that they have inside them and will have to dig into the cursed truths that lie buried under the eternal ice. The cast consists of Christopher Eccleston, John Hawkes, Fiona Shaw, Finn Bennett and Anna Lambe. The series is produced by Barry Jenkins, with Issa López who will be the screenwriter – together with Alan Page Arriaga, producer and director of the pilot.
