They offered to provide evidence that would “help Joe,” Lowe telling Phillips he had “kept everything” from the investigation. As can be seen in the documentary, Lowe signs an affidavit in which he retracts his statements regarding Joe’s involvement in the murder plot against Baskin.

Tim Stark is more present in Tiger King Season 2. The documentary series follows him as he takes over Joe Exotic’s GW Zoo with Jeff Lowe, after Exotic is incarcerated. However, the two then fall out over the restoration of the zoo and Lowe chases him off the property.

After several former Wildlife in Need volunteers denounced living conditions at his zoo and Stark’s practices of declawing his animals, a temporary injunction was filed against the zoo after PETA claimed it was breaking the law on the threatened species. Last year, the Indiana State Superior Court accepted a motion for the removal of all animals from the Stark Zoo, after which police issued an arrest warrant for Stark, which then took the escape. Eventually, in October 2020, Stark was found and arrested in New York City.
