Lin Manuel-Miranda’s feature directorial debut titled Tick, Tick… Boom has finally made its way to Netflix and it’s already started making all the right noise right before award season. The film, which is based on the semi-autobiographical musical of the same name, tells the story of Jonathan Larson, a music composer and playwright, who tries to achieve something before he turns 30.
The film is without a doubt one of the best musicals of recent times and is a worthy addition to the list of musicals which already includes films like “La, La Land” and “Judy”. Tick Tick Boom Ending Explained
After putting his apartment in order, Jonathan sits down in front of his Mac, and just at the right time, the power goes out. Shocked and furious, Jonathan calls the electrical office, but there isn’t much they can do right now. Faced with this sudden setback, Jonathan wanted to go swimming. And there, as his muscles feel the palpable weight of the water, Jonathan finds inspiration for his unfinished song.
He writes it on a set of specifications, and Karessa sings it with urgency, emotion and diction, appealing to critics and producers. Jonathan finished his song, but while the producers love the presentation, they think it’s so artistic for Broadway. Therefore, while “Superbia” is a production success, it doesn’t cause much fanfare in the mainstream media.
The end of Tick Tick Boom shows us a glimpse of the real Jonathan. After that he started working on another musical called “Rent”, which lasted 12 years. This drama revolutionized the Broadway musical, as it changed the tempo, pace, and vision of the genre. However, Jonathan did not have the chance to attend the first public performance of “Rent”. He died the day before of a sudden aortic aneurysm at the age of 35. However, his unwavering spirit carries over into the celebratory excess of the film.

History tells us that New York City was one of the hardest hit by the AIDS epidemic of the 1980s.
The community formed advocacy organizations that actively worked on community counseling and outreach programs to eliminate dogmas associated with the disease. However, this deadly disease has no known cure, even in 2021. With this realization, it looks like Michael is joining the list of AIDS martyrs.
