The Woman King Release Date
A historical epic inspired by the true events that took place in the Kingdom of Dahomey, one of the most powerful states in Africa in the 18th and 19th centuries. Written and directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood (The Old Guard, Behind the Scenes), the film also stars Dana Stevens (Fatherhood, City of Angels) and stars Viola Davis (The Suicide Squad, The Edge Between Us), John Boyega (Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Attack on the Building), Lashana Lynch (Captain Marvel, 007: No Time to Die), Jayme Lawson (The Batman) and others. “The Woman King” is scheduled for release on September 16th 2022.
