The Winchesters: First Cast Members Of Supernatural Prequel Revealed Coming On CW
Nida Khurshid and Jojo Fleites are the first cast members of the series pilot The CW The Winchesters, heralded prequel to the cult series Supernatural. The Winchesters will be produced by the team of Supernatural star Jensen Ackles with his wife Danneel Ackles and Robbie Thompson on behalf of Warner Bros. Television and CBS Studios. Glen Winter will direct and produce the pilot.

Written and produced by Robbie Thompson, The Winchesters will focus on Dean and Sam Winchester’s parents, John and Mary. Told from the point of view of narrator Dean Winchester, voiced by Jensen Ackles, The Winchesters is the epic, untold love story of how John met Mary and how they put everything at stake to save not just their love, but the whole world.
Nida Khurshid will play Latika Desai. Fiercely intelligent and braver than she realizes, Latika Desai is a young huntress in training whose research and problem-solving skills help her face her fears in the fight against the dark forces. Newcomer Jojo Fleites will play Carlos Cervantez. Comfortable and confident, Carlos has a natural knack when it comes to fighting demons and retains positivity as he faces more serious threats. Jensen Jensen and Danneel Ackles will produce the show with their company Chaos Machine Productions.
