The Wheel Of Time Season 2: The First Promotional Video Introduces New Characters

Amazon Prime Video shared the first promotional video of The Wheel of Time Season 2, the second season of the fantasy series, also revealing the new arrivals in the cast of the project. The images portraying Dónal Finn who plays Mat Cauthon and Ceara Coveney who plays Elayne Trakand were also presented at the New York Comic-Con. The Wheel of Time is the series conceived as an adaptation of Robert Jordan’s novels produced for Amazon Prime Video. Among the new arrivals of the next seasons are also those of Natasha O’Keefee and Meera Syal who have been entrusted with “two of the most important characters in the series”.

The Wheel of Time is one of the most popular and enduring fantasy series of all time, with over 90 million books sold. Set in an epic, sprawling world where magic exists and only a few women can use it, the story follows Moiraine (Rosamund Pike), a member of an incredibly powerful all-female organization called Aes Sedai, upon her arrival in Two Rivers. There she begins her perilous journey around the world with five young men and women, one of whom is prophesied to be the Dragon Reborn, destined to save or destroy humanity.
