Here Is The Teaser Shown During Netflix Geeked Week 2022:
The Midnight Club Release Date
In the clip, we see the protagonists of the series wandering around a house populated by strange shadows and mysterious presences in the middle of the night, during a storm. The protagonists propose a toast for “those who are here and we are here, for those who are visible and those who are not visible”. Between one flash and another, we also see mysterious presences that roam among them.
The Midnight Club is made up of a small group of adolescents suffering from a terminal illness, aware that their death is near. To exorcise fear, the group loves to gather in an old manor and tell each other really scary thrilling stories, obviously once past midnight (hence the name of the club). The boys make a promise to try to stay in touch even after death, finding a way to communicate from beyond the grave: the first one to die will try to get back in touch with the rest of the group. The series will arrive on October 7, 2022, on Netflix.
The Midnight Club The Story
The Midnight Club is about a group of terminally ill teenagers who gather together at midnight to tell each other scary stories. The pact that binds them concerns the fact that, which of them will be the first to leave, they will try to put in contact with the rest of the group from beyond the grave.
The main cast includes Iman Benson, Igby Rigney, Ruth Codd, Annarah Cymone, William Chris Sumpter, Adia, Aya Furukawa, Sauriyan Sapkota, Matt Biedel, Samantha Sloyan, Zach Gilford, and Heather Langenkamp. Leah Fong will executive produce alongside Flanagan himself, and Julia Bicknell. The project also includes Elan Gale, James Flanagan, and Chinaka Hodge.
Mike Flanagan brought the series The Haunting of Hill House and Midnight Mass to Netflix, which turned out to be a great success and is currently one of the favorites when it comes to horror. However, the filmmaker has also presented other triumphs such as ‘The Curse of Bly Manor’ and ‘Midnight Mass’, so his new production has a guarantee seal.
