The Marvels: The New Costumes in The New Official Photos from The Film!
A new batch of images from Marvel Studios’ upcoming film, The Marvels, has been released, detailing the new costumes the three heroes will be wearing. The new images come courtesy of Entertainment Weekly, who have shared a slew of new preview photos from the upcoming film. In addition to a handful of shots that include the likes of Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Dar-Benn (Zawe Ashton), the images also show off new costumes for Captain Marvel (Brie Larson), Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellan) and Monica Rambeau. (Teyonah Parris).

In the Marvel Studios movie, The Marvels, Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel got her identity back from the tyrannical Kree and took her revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But due to unforeseen consequences, Carol must shoulder the weight of a destabilized universe. When her homework leads her to an abnormal wormhole connected to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become intertwined with those of his Jersey City superfan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Captain Monica Rambeau, now a SABER astronaut. Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work together to save the universe “The Marvels“.
The Marvels, the sequel to the cinecomic Captain Marvel starring Academy Award winner Brie Larson which grossed $1 billion at the worldwide box office, will be written by Megan McDonnell, screenwriter of the acclaimed series WandaVision. Unfortunately, Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, directors of the first film, will not return behind the camera: the sequel, in fact, will be directed by Nia DaCosta, director of Candyman. In the cast, there will also be Iman Vellani (Ms. Marvel, also seen in the homonymous TV series on Disney+) and Teyonah Parris (Monica Rambeau, who previously appeared on WandaVision). Actress Zawe Ashton, on the other hand, will play the main villain, whose identity has not yet been revealed.
