The Greatest Beer Run Ever: First Look Photo of Zac Efron From Apple Tv+ Film Out
Apple TV+ released the first photo of Zac Efron in The Greatest Beer Run Ever, a camaraderie directed by Peter Farrelly and based on the memoir of marine John “Chick” Donohue. Chick traveled to Vietnam at the height of the war to bring his friends a beer and brighten their day. The journey to his destination was filled with adventure as Chick struck “a series of hilarious escapes and heartbreaking calls” along the way, into a dramatic, humorous and heartwarming story.

Known for his demented comedies directed four-handed with his brother Bobby Farrelly, from All Crazy About Mary to Dumb and Dumber, in 2019 Peter Farrelly won the Oscar for Best Picture with his road movie Green Book, which marked the the filmmaker’s turn towards dramatic stories. The photo released by Apple TV+ released the first look at Efron as Chick with mustache and dirty clothes while on a helicopter.
The Greatest Beer Run Ever will be released on Apple TV+ as an original film in the coming months. The cast of the film, adapted by Farrelly, also includes Russell Crowe, Kyle Allen, Bill Murray, Jake Picking, Will Hochman and Archie Renaux.
