The Great Indian Murder Trailer: Web Series, Will Be Streamed On Disney Plus Hotstar On This Date
Apart from acting, Ajay Devgan is also very active on OTT platforms and now as a producer has come up with a new series The Great Indian Murder, which is a murder mystery. Produced under Hotstar Specials, the highlight of the series is that it is a screen adaptation of the political thriller novel Six Suspects by Vikas Swarup, a former Indian diplomat. Vikas Swarup’s novel Q&A on Slumdog has become an Oscar-winning film like Millionaire. This series is co-produced by Preeti Vinay Pathak.
The trailer of the series, releasing on Disney Plus Hotstar, was released on Tuesday at a virtual event, in which the series’ star cast Prateek Gandhi, Richa Chadha, Ashutosh Rana and Shashank Arora along with director Tigmanshu Dhulia also attended. The screenplay is by Tigmanshu Dhulia, Vijay Maurya and Puneet Sharma. The series will also feature Raghubir Yadav, Sharib Hashmi, Aimee Wagh, Jatin Goswami and Paoli Dam in pivotal roles.
The Great Indian Murder The Story
Vicky Rai is a clever 32-year-old man, the owner of the Rai Group of Industries and the son of Jagannath Rai, the Home Minister of Chhattisgarh. Vicky Rai is murdered at a party hosted by him after he is released in connection with the rape and murder of two girls from the shelter home. There are six suspects in his murder. DCP Sudha Bhardwaj and CBI’s Suraj Yadav are investigating the murder. Vicky Rai’s case has also put an end to the political career of his father Jagannath Rai, who wants to win by all means, right or wrong, even after Vicky’s death. The story of The Great Indian Murder is told from the perspective of Sudha and Suraj. Richa Chadha is in the character of Sudha, while Prateek Gandhi has played the role of Sooraj.
