William, after taking a boat and traveling alone, meets the Canadian allies whom he joins at Scheldt. Marinus was posted opposite him on the German front and suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder. At the same time, Teuntje sneaks in with Janna to transmit the map of German positions to the Allies.
