As reported exclusively by Deadline, Emily Blunt has officially entered the cast of The Fall Guy, a film adaptation of The Fall Guy, an American television series, directed by Glen Larson, broadcast between 1981 and 1986, divided into 5 seasons for a total of 112 episodes and broadcast in Italy by Rai 1. The film, which also stars Ryan Gosling, and which will be directed by Deadpool director David Leitch, will be released in theaters on March 1, 2024. Filming will begin this fall in Australia.
The Plot Of The Fall Guy And The Role Of Emily Blunt
Now, no details have been revealed on the plot of the film, nor the role that will play Emily Blunt. The series, on which The Fall Guy is based, tells the adventures of two stuntmen, Colt Seavers and Howie Munson, who work a second job as bounty hunters. The two use their physical skills and knowledge of stunts (involving cars or his GMC off-road vehicle) to catch fugitives and criminals. Flanking them, the blonde and energetic Jody Banks. It is more than likely that Blunt can cover the latter character. The screenplay for the film was written by Drew Pearce, writer of Fast & Furious Presents Hobbs & Shaw.
