Apple TV+ has released the first trailer of the television miniseries entitled The Essex Serpent starring the couple of actors formed by Tom Hiddleston (the Loki of the Marvel Cinematic Universe) and Claire Danes (award-winning actress for her performance in the homeland drama series).
The trailer offers a first look at the show’s setting, highlighting the sights and beautiful costumes of Victorian England. It is clear that the genre of the series is the dramatic one and that the ideas of this woman, Cora Seaborne played by Claire Danes, will wreak havoc on a small village in England and turn the life of the shepherd, William Ransome played by Tom Hiddleston, upside down. As if that were not enough, the rumors speak of a mythological creature, The Essex Serpent that Cora wants to find. As it seems from one of the latest images in the trailer for The Essex Serpent, Cora and William may fall in love. The novel from which the series is based was published in 2016 and was written by Sarah Perry.
