The Essex Serpent: First Look Images And Release Date Of The Apple TV+ Series Out
Apple TV+ has released the first images of The Essex Serpent , an expected Apple Original limited series based on the novel of the same name by Sarah Perry, which will make its debut with the first two episodes on Friday 13 May, 2022 obviously streaming on Apple TV+. The 6 episode series boasts a stellar cast led by Emmy and SAG award winner Claire Danes and Emmy nominee Tom Hiddleston, Frank Dillane, Clémence Poésy and Hayley Squires complete the cast.
The Essex Serpent: First Look Images And Release Date
The Essex Serpent follows London-based widow Cora Seaborne (Claire Danes) who moves to Essex to investigate a mythical snake. Here she meets the village vicar (Tom Hiddleston), with whom she forms an unlikely bond, but just as tragedy strikes, the locals begin accusing her of attracting the strange creature. The series is directed by BAFTA nominee Clio Barnard, while written by Anna Symon, both are also executive producers alongside Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman and Patrick Walters. The series is produced for Apple TV+ by See-Saw Films. The Essex Serpent all set to release on Apple Tv+ on 13th May 2022.

The Essex Serpent joins the expanding roster of highly anticipated series that will soon make their Apple TV+ debut these include WeCrashed, the series starring Oscar winners Jared Leto and Anne Hathaway (out March 18), Pachinko, the drama based on the novel of the same name and due to be released on March 25,2022. Slow Horses the new spy series adapted from the novels by Mick Herron and starring Academy Award winner Gary Oldman, out on April 1, 2022. Shining Girls a metaphysical thriller starring and produced by Elisabeth Moss and based on Lauren Beukes’s bestseller (out April 29, 2022) and Now and Then a bilingual thriller out May 20, 2022.
