The Book of Boba Fett episode 1 is now available on Disney Plus! Star Wars fans will be happy to hear that the series is wasting no time in answering one of the biggest questions about the legendary bounty hunter. It all starts with Boba awakening inside the Sarlacc Pit, after the action-packed opening of Star Wars 6. His escape from the belly of the beast has already been explained in books and comics, but it is exciting to see her in action. The sequence is brief: he uses oxygen from a dead Stormtrooper to stay alive before poking a hole in the Sarlacc’s stomach and setting the monster on fire. He is a man who refuses to die.

Boba And The Tuskens

Boba is eventually discovered by the Tuskens, who keep him in captivity. At one point, he tries to escape. He subdues the massive placed there to keep the captives, but the Rodian attracts the attention of their captors by shouting. Although Boba tries to escape, the Tuskens eventually catch up with him. One of their warriors fights head-to-head with Boba and easily defeats him.

Interestingly, the staff used by the Warrior is the same one Boba uses when he first appeared in The Mandalorian. In fact, his other weapons and some of his dress from the period also appear to be of Tusken origin.

A Return Of Qi’ra And Darth Maul?

Also, at the end of Episode 1, we may not have seen either Emilia Clarke’s or Darth Maul’s Qi’ra return, but the two look even more plausible in subsequent chapters thanks to the inclusion of very revealing music. Savvy fans will notice the deliberate deployment of a leitmotif associated with the criminal organization Crimson Dawn, aka Daenerys Targaryen’s side activity.

Qi'ra And Darth Maul Return

After Solo’s underperformance, fans worried that we would never have a satisfactory resolution of Qi’ra’s story, nor any real benefit from the big reveal that a returning Darth Maul was still dealing with the organized crime. Thanks to these key musical phrases, it seems incredibly likely that we will get satisfaction on either of these questions.

Boba and Fennec then visit a business run by a Twi’lek named Madame Garsa. Boba assures him that his business will continue to exist and prosper under his protection. After getting out, they are ambushed by a group equipped with shields and some sort of electric baton. With the help of his newly recruited Gamorrean bodyguards and Fennec, Boba survives the attack. But since he suffers from serious injuries, he asks the Gamorreans to bring him back to the bacta capsule.

At the end of episode 1 of The Book of Boba Fett, the Rodian discovers a giant lizard with 4 arms, which can only be described as a giant lizard centaur. Luckily, Boba uses his chains to strangle the giant beast in much the same way Princess Leia kills Jabba the Hutt in Return of the Jedi.

Since he saved the child Tusken, the ending of Episode 1 of The Book of Boba Fett shows us Fett’s acceptance. His alliance with the Tuskens is probably the reason why Boba was able to survive on Tatooine for so long without his armor and spaceship.
