The detective investigates her father’s death and follows one to a tropical island far away to discover his true identity as the leader of what is later revealed to be a gang of murderers. Hunted precisely by her father’s enemies, she sees a union with the assassins trained by the man who brought her into the world as the only way out. But how does this story unfold? And what is your outcome? That’s what we’re going to understand in the following paragraphs, in which we’re going to explain the plot and the ending of The Big 4, especially for those of you who watched the movie and didn’t fully understand it. The Big 4: Plot Summary
What is this film about with such smoky but also so interesting premises? The plot of The Big 4 has at its center a police detective who is always very precise and dutiful in her duty investigating the death of her father with tenacity and courage. One clue, in particular, opens a trail that leads her to a tropical island in a remote and exotic location. Here, the detective discovers to her great surprise that her late father was the leader of a gang of unscrupulous assassins.
Enemies of the deceased begin to hunt her down, and she is forced to team up with an outlandish team: the men who had been trained by her father before his death, four hapless and theoretically retired assassins who are dying to get back on track. This wacky group of characters will team up on the hunt for an elusive and fearsome assassin, and it will be daring, grotesque and action-packed.
The Big 4 Ending Explained: Who Was Behind Petrus’s Murder?
Early on, the 4 protagonists of the feature Topan, Jenggo, Alpha, and Pelor are shown rescuing children from a human trafficking group. They were trained from childhood by Petrus, who adopted them and trained them to become assassins of the highest caliber. Despite being assassins, the Big 4 were trained to take down evil people and organizations. For this, they have their form of justice, which is not always understood by justice and society. Petrus even dedicated a good part of his life to helping his pupils.
So, he ended up leaving Dina, his biological daughter, aside, from not showing up at the ceremony which will make her a police officer, which will leave her devastated. Her father’s anger, however, turns to grief and sadness when she arrives home to find Petrus murdered. Devastated, she resolves to avenge this cruel crime and begins to work tirelessly towards that goal. Also devastated by the boy’s death, The Big 4 change their lives and decide to leave the troop to settle in Bersi, precisely the place where they met Petrus.
Game Changer
Three years pass without the mystery surrounding the crime being unraveled. Dina, however, never tires of trying to solve what caused her father’s death. She finally finds a valuable clue: a photograph of the deceased with four young children. Observing a mention of Bersi, she chooses to travel to the location to continue with her investigation. There, she rightly meets Topan and presses him for answers. Their saga is not at all easy, as Dina will be followed by gunmen to Vila Paraná.
Topan deals with the criminals and arranges a meeting between the two Jenggo and Pelor – a meeting of sorts so that the gang can come together to take matters into their own hands. While they plan, the gunmen looking for Dina multiply. They belong to Antonio, one of the biggest arms dealers in the region who wants the head of his biggest rival’s daughter. The gang engages in a fight with the gunmen and had managed to escape death, and reach safety. They decide to go to where Alpha is hiding in search of more weapons and a place to protect themselves, but not even the boy’s hiding place is out of reach of Antonio and his men, as the criminals find Dina’s whereabouts. and The Big 4 a few days later.
Revelation
Of course, by now it’s pretty clear who was responsible for Petrus’s murder. It was Antonio who admitted to the crime when he came face to face with Toupan. There it is revealed that the villain was the first adopted son of the mentor, having been raised with a lot of dedication and determination. The boy’s ambition and cold-bloodedness, however, were revealed over time, so Petrus realized his mistake and expelled Antonio from his domain. The boy had no mercy and would kill anyone without a drop of remorse, having no ability to distinguish between good and evil. A skillful knife wielder, he always wanted to be part of the team of The Big 4, but Petrus did not allow him because of the dubious personality of the pupil. In revenge, the boy decided to become more powerful than his mentor to defeat the Big 4 and take revenge for the expulsion.
Anyone who thinks, however, that this alone culminated in Petrus’s death is wrong. Is that Antonio also has a boss, Hassan, who was responsible for ordering the execution. Diná’s boss in the police and an old friend of Petrus appears at the beginning of the feature greeting Dina as a kind of uncle. He probably doesn’t agree with Petrus’ decision to train children to become deadly assassins, even though the deceased’s intention was to fight injustice to protect innocent people. This would have been seen as a violation on the part of the officer, who would have decided to end the life of the “friend” for this reason.
But Hassan could also have ordered the crime for money, since the many enemies that the mentor accumulated during his journey would certainly pay a lot of money to whoever killed him. Nor did he do the work alone, having relied on a lady wearing a spider eye patch who was quite skilled with her sword. This rather dangerous woman claims to have unfinished business with Topan, which indicates that she may also have been one of Petru’s students, as Antonio’s very existence revealed that the Big 4 were not the mentor’s only “children” as if a thought at first.
It is later revealed that Petus’ killer was named Suranto. Over time, the villain has given himself several new names in an attempt to let go of his past and become a new person. In addition to Antonio, he also began to call himself the “Prince of 1001 Knives” and the “Scorpion of Southeast Asia”. His goal with the change was to get rid of the haunting experiences of his childhood, so simply being teased with his birth name causes the villain to become very agitated, with various memories instantly bubbling up in his mind. The personalities of the two villains identities are quite distinct. While Saranto was an isolated and friendless child, Antonio is a famous arms dealer and a feared name in the industry, feeling better about his new name and proud of the reputation built over the years.
How Does Dina End?
With Antonio’s defeat, Dina manages to report the villain’s numerous crimes and returns to being a police officer. That’s even knowing that The Big 4 have returned to active duty in the fight as vigilantes, hiding from the police day after day with the skills that were taught to them by Petrus.
