Texas Chainsaw Massacre was filmed in Bulgaria and will be available on Netflix to stream on February 18, 2022. Given the fame of the original film, expectations are high, and responsibilities are heavy. Producer Alvarez is very aware of this, saying: “Rodo and I wanted to make sure we didn’t disappoint the fans – and we are among them. So it will be a pretty tough project but, at the same time, it will have the linearity of the first film. We started from a simple premise but capable of giving life to a terrible domino effect. Everything is placed in the right place. Just touch a piece and every other element will fall badly”.
