Tekken: Bloodline: What We Know About The New Netflix Anime
At the moment we know that Tekken: Bloodline will focus on the character of Jin Kazama, historical protagonist of the saga that debuted in Tekken 3, grandson of Heihachi Mishima and son of Kazuya Mishima and Jun Kazama. The story that will be painted within the anime will be inspired by the story of the third chapter which, from what we saw from the first trailer, will retrace Jin’s training to become the fighter we have come to know within the video game.
The first synopsis of the story reads: “Power is everything” Jin Kazama learned family self-defense techniques, traditional Kazama-style martial arts from his mother from an early age. Despite everything, he was helpless when a monstrous evil suddenly appeared destroying everything he held dear, changing his life forever. Furious with himself for not being able to do something, Jin vowed revenge and went in search of absolute power to be able to do it. The search for him will lead him to the final battle that will take place on a world stage: The King of the Iron Fist tournament.
Tekken 3, released on the first PlayStation, is still one of the most loved chapters of the fighting game today and it is no surprise that this part of the long-lived story of the saga was chosen to be adapted first. At the moment there are no details on the animation studio involved in the project or on the number of episodes, but, except for late postponements, we should be able to see the animated series on Netflix by the end of 2022.
