The film was announced by RSVP after celebrating the film ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ with the Indian Army last year. Kangana started shooting for her airforce film Tejas from December last year.

‘Tejas’ is the story of a courageous and brave fighter pilot played by Kangana Ranaut. The film salutes the armed forces and aims to inspire the nation at large. The Indian Air Force was the first defense force in the country to engage women in combat roles in 2016. The film is inspired by this historical event. Kangana Ranaut’s Dhansu action scenes will be seen in this film. This film has been written by Sarvesh Mevara and he is also going to direct it. The film is being produced by RSVP Movies.
