Stranger Things: Eleven Spinoff Coming? The Writers of The Series Speak
The writers of Stranger Things have denied the arrival of a spinoff on Eleven. Previously, Millie Bobby Brown was rumored to lead a spinoff series centered around her character. Stranger Things season five will be the show’s last, with the Duffer brothers also speaking of a potential spinoff once the main series concludes. Recently, unconfirmed reports have been circulating that Millie Bobby Brown has signed on to reprise her role as Eleven at the heart of this series.

However, the official Twitter account of the Stranger Things writers was quick to deny the rumors. These latest leaks follow the revelation that Brown’s co-star Finn Wolfhard accidentally guessed the premise of the Duffer brothers’ intended spinoff series. At present, however, the exact meaning of these plans still remains a closely guarded secret. Last year, during an interview, the Duffer brothers confirmed that they are actively developing a new spinoff set in the same world as Stranger Things. However, they specified that the new show will be “1000% different”.
Created by Matt and Ross Duffer, the Netflix hit series is currently heading into its fifth and final season, which is scheduled to begin filming in May this year. Last year’s season four finale left audiences with a terrifying cliffhanger, with Vecna’s foray into the Upside Down now threatening the entire town of Hawkins. Following these disturbing events, Stranger Things season 5 is expected to bring together all the threads from the show’s previous seasons in one emotional and dramatic finale, which the Duffer brothers say has brought Netflix executives to tears.
