Stranger Things 4 Vol 2 has finally arrived on Netflix with the final chapters of its fourth and penultimate season, which focus on the great battle between the beloved protagonists and the great villain of the new cycle of the series: Vecna. During the great battle, Eleven faces Vecna, where the great villain manages to control both her and Max (Sadie Sink), but fortunately, in the final minutes, Mike (Finn Wolfhard) managed to give strength to his girlfriend so she can neutralize the villain. Unfortunately, after this terrible experience, Max falls into a deep coma, and although she managed to survive, her future is uncertain, so we decided to include her on the list.

There, after tripping over a cloud of particles, Vecna ​​creates the Mind – Flayer which is part of a Hive Mind that can trap whoever it meets. In the final episode, Eleven leaves the Hawkins laboratory determined to face Vecna ​​in an intense battle, meanwhile, NancySteve and Robin, who are in the Upside Down, begin to attack Vecna’s body with bullets and homemade bombs.

Max and Eleven are part of the big battle against Vecna ​​in her Mind Lair. The fight between the heroines of the story against the powerful enemy becomes more and more complicated due to his abilities. Max is held, while Vecna ​​reveals her master plan to Eleven, which is to open 4 doors that break into Hawkins to unite both worlds, for which she needs 4 victims. 

The friends are held back by Vecna, however, thanks to Mike and his words of encouragement, Eleven can break free from the clutches of her enemy. Unfortunately for everyone, Max doesn’t make it in time and begins to levitate in the real world, just like he did in the first part of the season. Lucas watches in horror as his beloved’s legs begin to break and her eyes begin to bleed. Eleven attacks Vecna, while at the same time Nancy, Steve, and Jonathan attack him from Upside Down, causing his power over Max to weaken.

As expected, the villain survives the attack. Max was brain dead for a minute, causing the fourth gate between the Upside Down and Hawkins to open. The dimensional collapse causes an earthquake of more than 7 degrees on the Richter scale, generating cracks throughout the city.

The group from California made up of Will, Mike, Eleven and Jonathan, return to Hawkins and see the chaos left behind by the supposed natural disaster. Thousands of people are leaving the city, there is a high death toll and the number is expected to rise. This added to the instability of the area. Dustin tells his friends what happened to Max, revealing that the young woman is in a deep coma and is badly injured.

In one of the most emotional moments of the finale, Dustin talks with Eddie’s uncle, who was looking for his nephew, revealing that he died in the earthquake, but that he did it to save the city that hated him so much. The young man was accused of leading a satanic cult that claimed innocent lives. When he sacrificed himself to distract the Hive Mind and save everyone’s lives. 

In the last few seconds of the plot, Eleven is finally reunited with Hopper and Joyce, who were in Russia trying to free the cop. However, the joyous reunion is interrupted when ashes begin to fall from the sky and the group of protagonists, finally reunited, realize that the chaos has just begun, as they watch as a large part of the city is apocalyptically consumed by the fire.
