When Peter and James start seeing each other, some of his family are hostile to the idea, believing that Peter should be with Nick. This includes Peter’s father, Harold who built an easy relationship with Nick, and Peter’s nieces. The love that Peter’s family has for Nick is mutual. He has no family of his own and fits in perfectly with Peter’s.

Carole also adores Nick and would love to see him with Peter. But the other members of Peter’s family make no secret that they love Nick and even try to spoil Peter and James’ dates so that Peter ultimately does the right thing and date Nick. As the film progresses, it becomes evident that Nick and Peter both have intense feelings for each other. Even James eventually realizes it. After all, Nick is the subject of most things Peter says on their dates.

Single All The Way: Story Plot

Single All The Way follows the story of Peter, a boy who struggles to find his happy romantic ending due to an overly apprehensive and meddlesome family who keeps intruding on his love life. As Christmas approaches, to avoid uncomfortable questions from relatives about his Single All The Way, Peter asks his best friend Nick to pose as his boyfriend. But even this time things don’t go according to plan and Carol, the mother of the protagonist, arranges for him a blind date with her charming and beautiful personal trainer James.

Despite their first romantic meeting going well, Nick still remains in the equation. Is it only a deep friendship that binds him to Peter or, on the contrary, are the feelings they have for each other of a completely different nature?
