Silo: The Teaser Trailer For The Apple Tv+ Dystopian Series Starring Rebecca Ferguson
The teaser trailer for Silo shows Rebecca Ferguson and David Oyelowo in a mysterious underground facility. The footage, released by Apple TV+, anticipates the show’s release on the streaming platform and gives a glimpse of the homonymous dystopian science fiction adaptation of Hugh Howey’s New York Times trilogy of novels. A film based on Howey’s original work was in the works at the hands of Ridley Scott, but the director’s adaptation of Alien never got off the ground, eventually dying out with the merger of Disney and 20th Century Fox. The streaming release is scheduled for May 5, 2023, only on Apple Tv+.
Silo: Here is The Teaser Trailer for the Apple Tv+ Series
Formerly known as Wool, the series takes place in a toxic future where the world is no longer habitable for humans and the only hope for the remaining 10,000 living people is a massive Silo that extends a mile deep into the earth. Anyone who tries to decipher why the structure was created dies. As the teaser reveals, there are a lot of mysteries in the Silo and even more reason to worry that all is not right.
Silo will primarily follow engineer Juliette (Rebecca Ferguson) as her search for answers about the death of a loved one only reveals a larger, more mysterious reality. Her journey seems to take her along secret passageways within the facility and into restricted areas where her life is always in danger. The truth can lead to death in Silo, but she’s determined to find out for herself what’s real and what’s not. In addition to Ferguson and Oyelowo, Silo also stars Common, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, Rashida Jones, and Academy Award winner Tim Robbins. Emmy-nominated writer Graham Yost created the series and serves as showrunner with Academy Award nominee Morten Tyldum directing the first three episodes.
