Shrinking: Harrison Ford Star In Apple TV+ Series From The Creators Of Ted Lasso

From the creators of Ted Lasso comes the new Shrinking series which will also include the legendary Harrison Ford!

Harrison Ford‘s appearances in a TV series can be counted on the fingertips of one hand. Harrison Ford has signed with Apple TV+ to appear in the series titled Shrinking. The legendary Hollywood actor had only a very small part in a few television shows of the 70s and, most recently, he appeared way back in 1993 in an episode of the second season of the series of The Adventures of the Young Indiana Jones.

From what the Deadline website reports , Harrison Ford will play Dr. Phil Rhodes who is a very sharp and outspoken psychologist. Rhodes is described as a pioneer of cognitive-behavioral therapy but his life, in addition to his work successes, sees him busy with a bad disease or Parkinson’s. This will lead him out of his “safe zone” relating to work and confronting intrusive friends and snake relatives. Rhodes will be accompanied by his two young assistants, Jimmy and Gaby.

Jason Segel (famous for his role as Marshall in How I Met Your Mother) will be the main protagonist of Shrinking. His role will be that of the grieving therapist who, not caring about the rules, will start telling all his patients what he really thinks. This will bring drastic changes in his life and in that of his patients. It will be interesting to find out how Segel’s and Ford’s characters interact with each other.

The series is created by actor and producer Jason Segel, Ted Lasso creator Bill Lawrence and famed producer and writer Brett Goldstein. It is a 10-episode comedy produced by Warner Bros. Television for Apple’s streaming service. Harrison Ford will also be the protagonist of the next chapter of the Indiana Jones saga, the filming of which has begun and has also taken place in Sicily.
