When they pass the portal, they are in hologram Bruce Banner and Captain Marvel and together with them they analyze the rings. When they ask Shang-Chi where they come from, he explains that their father found them and that he has had them for a thousand years, but that he does not know where they came from. Wong explains that it doesn’t look like any of the relics in the codices and that it looks much older.

The next explanation they are looking for is that it is an extraterrestrial object, but it also does not fit with the chitauri technology or with anything known. Captain Marvel then says that she has to leave, after receiving a warning, and to be called if necessary. But when Bruce Banner disappears, he clarifies that he has no way of doing it and that he does not know why he always says that before saying goodbye.

He then tells them that he will continue investigating and also says goodbye. Wong explains to Shang-Chi and Katy that their lives are going to change forever and that they must rest and prepare for what’s to come … Or they can … Party at karaoke! In this way, the film ties in with the beginning of the film, when Shang-Chi and Katy shunned responsibility by squeezing the moment.
