After the departure of Patricia Allison, Sex Education Season 4 will have to do without another beloved character. In an interview with LADbible, Tanya Reynolds – the actress who played the eccentric Lily Iglehart in the first three seasons of the Netflix series – revealed that she had decided to leave the series to pursue other career opportunities.

“As well as Patricia, I will also not be present in the fourth season of Sex Education,” he said. In short, fans of the series will have to get used to no longer seeing the couple formed by Ola and Lily. Despite her goodbye, Tanya Reynolds has nevertheless revealed something about the new episodes of the series, which should debut on Netflix, not before next spring. “The new episodes are going to be crazy. Crazy, I mean really. There will be many new characters. Fans will quickly forget little old Lily,” the actress revealed.
Sex Education season 3 ended with a big question mark, leaving numerous questions unanswered. For this reason, season 4 is incredibly awaited by fans. Unfortunately, however, the American streaming giant Netflix has not yet revealed a release date for the new episodes of Sex Education and has not even released a trailer. Please note that, although not officially confirmed, the fourth season should also be the last for Netflix’s British young / adult series created by Laurie Nunn.
It will be interesting to see if other characters will be cut off from the plot and how many will be introduced. Sex Education was released in 2019 on Netflix and each year had a new season up to the third. To keep the “tradition” Netflix should publish the new episodes by the end of 2022: will it succeed?
