Record of Ragnarok Season 2 Ending Explained: Who Won the Fourth and Fifth Rounds?

In the Record of Ragnarok Season 2, Netflix anime Based on the eponymous manga by Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui, the clashes between the most powerful gods and the strongest men in history continue to save humanity from destruction. After Lu Bu lost to Thor, Zeus defeated Adam, and despite Kojiro Saski defeating Poseidon, humanity is losing, but their fight for survival continues. In the next round, an evil human arrives and faces a new god. The gods want to stop humans from winning again, so they send the one and only Hercules, who will have to face Jack the Ripper. Although Hercules seems to have the upper hand, especially when showing off his tattoos, Jack the Ripper constantly tricks his opponent, plays with his mind, and even manages to injure him. He first claims that his weapon is a simple pair of scissors, then that it is his briefcase, but it is his gloves, which can turn anything he touches into a divine weapon. Despite having lost his arm, Hercules stops at nothing and musters the strength to unleash his most powerful move: the Twelfth Labor. However, he is not enough to defeat Jack. Both are seriously injured but continue to fight. The fourth round ends with Jack the Ripper killing Hercules with his blood. However, he fails to see fear in the god, which he considers a personal loss. Although it is a victory for the humans, they cannot celebrate and cry out for Hercules.

Raiden Tameemon vs. Shiva

Following humanity’s second victory, Brunhilda visits the colossal Tameemon Raiden, the strongest sumo wrestler in history, to face Shiva, the god of destruction, in the fifth round. During the battle, Shiva and Raiden realize that they have similar philosophies and fight for the ones they love. The first was for his friends and the second for his fellow Valkyrie, Thrud. To ensure victory both use their best techniques.

Who Wins the Fifth Round?

Near the end of the battle, Raiden cuts off three of Shiva’s four arms, who do the same to Raiden. The fifth round of Ragnarok ends with Raiden’s death and Shiva’s perception of humans changing. Though Zeus is impressed by the humans’ bravery, he won’t stop until victory belongs to the gods. Meanwhile, Goll hears that a group of gods is planning to eliminate Buddha because they believe that he is a traitor. When the gods discover her, they try to catch her, but Jack the Ripper appears just in time. In the post-credits scene of Record of Ragnarok, it is announced that Buddha will be the fighter of the gods in the sixth round. However, when he goes out into the arena, he indicates that he will fight for humanity. Who will he face? Zerofuku?
