Raising Dion Season 2 Ending Explained: Is Brayden Killed Everyone?
As in any good drama about strange powers appearing out of nowhere, Nicole must protect Dion from risky situations, like strange enemies or agencies looking to research her abilities. We tell you everything about the end of Season 2 of Raising Dion Season 2 on Netflix!
In the season ending, Brayden wants to destroy Dion ever loved once. He intends to kill Dion’s friends and family, who have gathered at the high school theater for a musical performance organized by the students. Although the foursome hold their own against the monster, they are no match for the twisted man, who is stronger thanks to Brayden’s hatred and pain. In desperation, Nicole appeals to Brayden and manages to get through to him.
Brayden manages to drive the twisted energy from his body, and it retreats into the chasm. Dion then uses the antidote that keeps Nicole alive to destroy the ecosystem created by the evil energy in the chasm. Dion’s actions revert all monsters back to their human form. Nicole is saved from certain death, and mother and son reunite. The Season 2 ending of Raising Dion also highlights Dion’s growth from using his powers as a first option to a last resort. Instead of using her powers to stop Brayden, Dion empathizes with her comrade.
Is Pat Dead?
Energy can neither be created nor destroyed. This transfer of energy occurs when sentient evil arrives at BIONA to bond with Pat. Pat purposely lets the energy consume him and becomes the Hooked Man again. This time around, Pat has more superpowers than before and has resigned himself to the dark side. He is therefore the perfect host for the evil entity.
The post-credits scene from Season 2 of Raising Dion is proof of that. The scene set in the future shows Pat using an army of super-powered humans to destroy Atlanta. Plus, the fact that Pat is Dion’s godfather makes the parallel even more powerful.
