Raising Dion tells the story of Nicole (Alisha Wainwright) and her son Dion (Ja’Siah Young). After Dion begins to manifest several mysterious superhero-like abilities. Two years after defeating Crooked Man (Jason Ritter), Season 2 follows Dion as he continues to hone his powers. with the support of her mother and Tevin (Rome Flynn), her coach Biona who catches Nicole’s attention. The season 1 finale of Raising Dion, “Storm Killer,” saw the evil Pat Rollins / Crooked Man try to be healed by Dion, due to the damaging effects the powers were having on his body. Dion and Pat end up arguing, and the young hero, with the help of his mother, Nicole, apparently manages to defeat Pat, killing him. While the Raising Dion 2 synopsis hints at a new threat, it’s not entirely clear at the moment what it could be.
Raising Dion 2 Release Date on Netflix
Raising Dion 2 will consist of 8 episodes and will arrive on Netflix on February 1, 2022. So very little is missing for the return to our screens of the protagonists Alisha Wainwright and Ja’Siah Young. The creator Carol Barbee, on the other hand, will continue to fill the role of showrunner.
