Ragnarok Season 3

In fact, on the official Instagram profile of Netflix Nordic, a video has been posted in which we see the cast, announcing the third season. To date it is the second serial project made by the streamer in Norway after Christmas With An Unknown. As expected the series has been renewed for a third and final season, the same fate that befell The Rain, another original series from Scandinavia.

When Ragnarok Season 3 Will Release

As for the release of Ragnarok 3, we can expect to see the episodes in the course of 2022, not before next summer. The first season premiered on January 31, 2020, while the second debuted 16 months later, on May 27, 2021, with a delay inevitably affected by the Covid-19 health emergency. If the filming of the third season begins at the gates of September like that of the previous one, the debut of Ragnarok 3 could come in the summer months of next year.

Ragnarok 3 Plot, Previews

The story focuses on the inhabitants of Edda, some of whom may not be who they say they are. Together with them we observe a world shaken by drastic changes such as the melting of polar ice, hot winters and violent downpours. Some may say we are on the brink of another Ragnarok. Unless someone intervenes in time. The second season picks up on the finale of the previous one: 17-year-old Magne (David Stakston) has just discovered that he will have to face an ancient and extremely powerful enemy whose shadow looms over the entire city.

As he prepares for the final confrontation, Magne realizes that his enemies are too many and stronger than him. But he may not be the only person with supernatural powers. Add to this Laurits (Jonas Strand Gravli), Magne’s younger brother, sees things quite differently. If there is a third season, we expect Ragnarok 3 to bring the decisive battle to the screen to save Edda – and Earth.
