What Prisma Season 2 is About
This new chapter of Prisma will resume telling the stories of a group of kids from Latina, where we left them, and therefore with the meeting on the bus between Andrea (Mattia Carrano) and Daniele (Lorenzo Zurzolo). Something significant will certainly happen between these two characters who finally get to know each other after meeting – so to speak – via social media. And we will also see how the story of Andrea’s twin, Marco, and his story with Carola will continue.
Prisma explores the complex relationship between identity, aspirations, physical appearance, and the sexual orientations of a group of Latina adolescents. Mattia Carrano plays Marco and Andrea, two twins who are apparently identical but profoundly different. The first, fresh from a difficult period, is shy and solitary. The same cannot be said of Andrea, although he hides from everyone that he likes to dress up and wear makeup like a female. Through a fake profile, Andrea bonds with Daniele (Lorenzo Zurzolo), a handsome and charismatic boy from his school. He is convinced that a girl is writing to him, and he wants to meet her, and when Andrea finally finds the courage to do so, the two find themselves on board the same bus, and head towards the meeting place.
At that point, we saw Andrea make Daniele understand that he was the person behind the fake profile by playing a song. The first season therefore ended with a shot of their empty seats, without allowing us to understand whether Andrea and Daniele got off the bus together or alone. Season 2 will resume telling the story from where we left off the two and the other Latina kids. One shot portrays them together, while in the other two we can see Caterina Forza and Chiara Bordi again in the roles of Nina and Carola.
When Does Prisma Season 2 Comes Out?
