Peacemaker: HBO’s Acclaimed Series Has Been Renewed For A Season 2
Peacemaker is the new television series entirely created by James Gunn, from the initial concept to the direction and screenplay, which brings to the small screen the adventures of one of the strangest characters of Suicide Squad, crazy cinecomic by the same author. We are referring to Peacemaker, in fact, the violent and bloodthirsty gunfighter embodied by John Cena who, despite having a lot of space in the aforementioned film, deserved a TV show all of him. Upon his arrival on HBO Max, which took place on January 13, 2022, the creation made a bang and is still among the most popular products of the last period, as confirmed by the excellent evaluation on Rotten Tomatoes.

For this very reason, it should come as no surprise that Peacemaker , as officially reported by Variety , has been renewed for a second season. The announcement came today directly from James Gunn, who with an explosive tweet, declared the continuation of the series, sharing a small GIF with the whole cast and the writing “Season 2”. On this occasion, the film-maker wanted to thank the cast, all the production and HBO that allowed him to carry on this project and without which the work would never have come to light. At present we do not know when the new episodes will arrive.
