Pathaan 2nd Day Box Office Collection: Shah Rukh Khan and John Starrer Grossed 200 crore

Shahrukh Khan’s Pathaan has broken all the records of earnings. It has become the biggest opening film in Indian cinema history. The first film, which was released on a non-holiday, earned above Rs 50 crore. According to film critic and trade analyst Komal Nahata, Pathaan has taken an opening of Rs 57 crore. The Hindi version of the film earned Rs 55 crore. The remaining Rs 2 crore came from the dubbed version of the film. And on the second day, the film earned 68 crores in Hindi and 2.5 crores in dubbed languages.

This is a matter of domestic collection. Now coming to the worldwide collection of Pathaan. Pathaan was released on 8000 screens in more than 100 countries across the world including India. According to the report, Shah Rukh Khan’s film earned 4.50 million dollars i.e. around 37 crores outside India on the first day. With this, the net worldwide collection of Pathaan is Rs 92 crores. In this Pathaan could not even reach KGF 2. Yash starrer KGF 2 had blown 164 crores from all over the world on the first day. Looking at the kind of craze we have seen regarding Pathaan, it is said that the film will earn more than Rs 50 crore on the second day as well. If this happens, then for the first time in his career, Shahrukh Khan will beat 100 crores from the domestic ticket window in just two days. While the lifetime collection of his last three films ‘Zero’, Jab Harry Met Sejal and ‘Fan’ could not even reach Rs 100 crore.

Pathaan 2^nd Day Box Office Collection: Day Wise 

According to trade experts, Pathaan is going to do business for Rs 300 crore in the first week of its release. Because this film was released on Wednesday i.e. 25 January. 26 January, i.e. Republic Day is a holiday on Thursday. This thing will help the film a lot. The official weekend will start on Friday. Despite all the negativity and bad reviews, the film will score big numbers on Saturday and Sunday. It is said that the real test of a film starts after the weekend i.e. from Monday. But Pathaan is on its way to becoming a blockbuster even before Monday.

Pathaan has been released in 100 countries of the world including India. Pathaan has become the Hindi film to be released on the maximum number of screens. It was released on a total of 5500 screens across the country. The screen count of the film outside India is 2500. Total 8000 Screens. Earlier, the record Hindi film released on the maximum number of screens was in the name of ‘Brahmastra‘, which was released on 5000 screens. Pathaan collected Rs 57 crore and 70.5 crore net on the second day from across the country on the first day. In this, 55 crores have come from the Hindi version of the film, and the remaining two crores have been earned by the Tamil-Telugu dubbed version of the film. Till now this record was in the name of KGF 2, which took an opening of Rs 53.95 crore. The second number was YRF’s Spy Universe film ‘War’. Hrithik and Tiger starrer this film had beaten 53.35 crores on the first day.

Released on a non-holiday, Pathaan has also made the record of highest grossing. Non-holiday means the release of the film on a day that is not a holiday. Pathaan released on 25 January, which is mid-week. Plus, there was no holiday on this day. Despite this, the film collected 57 crores. Till now the record of earning the highest on non-holiday was in the name dubbed Hindi version of ‘Bahubali 2’. The Prabhas starrer film did a business of Rs 41 crore on the first day. Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Sanju’ is the third biggest non-holiday opener after Pathaan and ‘Bahubali’. Sanjay Dutt’s biopic earned Rs 34.74 crore on the first day. So far the biggest opening film of John Abraham’s career was ‘Satyamev Jayate’. Clashing with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Gold’ in 2018, the film earned Rs 19.50 crore on the first day. Pathaan has more or less got three times bigger opening than this.
