Outer Banks fans report that Netflix has just announced the release of the third installment of the series and it’s sooner than we could imagine. The teen drama created by Josh Pate, Jonas Pate and Shannon Burke, which tells the story of a close-knit group of teenagers (called Pogues) in the seaside resort of Outer Banks, North Carolina, is about to return with new adventures and a story of long-awaited love that looks like it will finally take flight. What to Expect from Outer Banks Season 3
The new season of Outer Banks will consist of 10 episodes and is based on the following storyline. After a near-death, John and Sarah are on the run and in trouble in the Bahamas in Season 2. In this race for hidden treasure, they’ll find new friends and enemies, while back home, the stakes for Kiara, Pope and JJ grow exponentially. The $400 million is still at stake, but will the discovery of a surprising secret be enough to reunite the group for a new mission? In the most incredible adventure of their lives, the Pogues will have to do the impossible to survive in this blizzard.
According to the official synopsis for the season, the boys will soon find themselves hunting for treasure again. “They’re broke and far from home, they can’t trust anyone, Ward and Rafe are hungry for revenge, and there’s a ruthless Caribbean don who will stop at nothing to grab his bounty from him,” it reads. ” Was the treasure ever within their reach? Or was it all a trap to stop them once and for all? In any case, it’s the Pogues against everyone and the only way out is to find it together“.
During a recent interview, Chase Bokes commented on the Outer Banks Season 2 finale:
“So much has happened this season. I mean, it all starts with John B. Senior’s selfish desire to look for this treasure, and so he ends up abandoning his son“. These are the first words of Chase Stokes, interpreter of John B., who then explained that the father of his character “has decided to go away and leave his son. It’s not that he was hit by a natural disaster or some fatality on which he had no control“.
