Our Fault Ending Explained: The third and final part of the saga, “Our Fault” (Culpa Nuestra), (after My Fault and Your Fault), arrives with such a fast closing that it seems to want to condense ten episodes of Wattpad into two hours. Four years after the breakup, Nick is living in London, Noah has tried to rebuild his life… but they are both still locked in the same wound: that night with Michael that Nick never forgave, even though he was not innocent either. They meet again at Lion and Jenna’s wedding and, as was inevitable… They go from ignoring each other to going to bed in a matter of minutes. But Nick wakes up cold, distant, and repeats the same thing as always: “I can’t forgive you”. What he doesn’t know is that this reunion is going to change everything.

If he knows how to do something, Mercedes Ron, author of the Fault Saga, is not letting us rest for a moment with her plots. Always with that other, darker side that accompanies the main love plot, the writer does not hesitate to mix stories and even genres to give teenagers what they want to read and see on their screens. With his car racing, Noah’s abusive father (Nicole Wallace) and a chase with shots included, ‘My Fault,’ he has already shown us that you will never be able to guess the plot that Ron has in mind for his characters. Who knew Nick’s past (Gabriel Guevara) in Your Fault and, above all, the one who would get involved with Briar (Alex Bejar)? It was to be expected, then, that after an end to the second installment in which the protagonists ended up estranged, the third and final film in the saga, Our Fault (premiere on October 16 on Prime Video), would surprise again with new twists and complications. Our Fault Ending Explained: Noah and Nick Get Back Together?

In the sensational final sequence, Nick discovers (finally!) that Noah is pregnant with their baby, although she mistakenly thinks it is Simon, but he is ready to accept it as his own. It is his lifelong friends Jenna and Lion who make him understand the truth. The protagonist is six months pregnant, so it’s the fateful night spent together when they met again as the two friends at the beginning of the film.

Noah’s skill behind the wheel is once again questioned by Nick: “With so many drivers, don’t you remember how to drive anymore?” The result is one breathtaking action scene which literally presses on the accelerator: after a car chase that winks at the clandestine races of the past, the two arrive at the villa to tell Noah’s mother that she will be a grandmother. Waiting for them, however, is a worker fired from the company, who shoots the heir in revenge. Nick will end up in the hospital and in a coma.

When she wakes up, she finds Noah at her bedside, ready to declare her love for him: in the meantime, she has given birth to their child. They are ready to finally start a life together as a family in their new home. He gives her a heart-shaped pendant in memory of their first kiss in the car, “I’ll give it to you again.”, with one more detail: the child. At that point, the final plot twist: Briar (Alex Bejar) returns – the villain of Is it Your Fault? – for revenge once and for all on Noah and Nick, in cahoots with former psychology student Michael (Javier Morgade). He’s upstairs resting with the baby, so she goes downstairs to make him some herbal tea. Once the little boy is kidnapped, Briar and Michael try to escape, but are stopped by Thor, the dog. The psychologist falls through the upstairs window, and the former roommate is knocked down by Noah.

The most difficult sequence to transpose onto the screen, according to the author of the books, “She’s extremely eventful with the two villains breaking in. He turned around at night, and this made everything more complicated. Then there was the window question: not only all the clear windows in the house and the reflections they created, but also Michael’s defenestration from upstairs.”.

The Importance of Marriage in the Film Prime Video

The film opens and closes with a wedding: Jenna and Lion’s and Noah and Nick’s, respectively: “They were the sequences I cared about the most because they are the incipit that kicks off the reunion of the protagonist couple, and the one that seals their love.” The author tells us about the film adaptation of the scenes.

“I really wanted them to be as true to the book as possible, and I think they did an amazing job. It was very exciting and fun to watch on set. I was very satisfied with it. I’m curious about the fans’ reaction because it’s a happy moment but also a sad one, as we’ll have to say goodbye to them forever.

The New Entry: Noah’s New Love Interest

The author and the production had to find a new entry who was Noah’s love interest, namely his new boss Simòn at the ecological start-up. “Choosing it was easier than expected (laughs).”. They opted for an equally fascinating and well-known face compared to Gabriel/Nick, i.e, Fran Morcillo from The Paper House (one of Suarez’s policemen).

The happiness skulking Mercedes Ron at this moment in his life: “It was so hard to get negative sales feedback initially, so it’s a real rematch for me. Now I’m living a dream with this new cinematic hit, and there’s also the new deal with Prime Video: What more could you want?”.

Michael and Briar: The Real Villains

When everything seemed to be on track, the darkest past returns.
Michael, the psychologist Noah made his big mistake with, returns for revenge. And she’s not alone: Briar, obsessed and broken, blames Nick for losing her baby. And his plan is as simple as it is terrifying:
“You took a son from me… now I will take yours from you.”

Nick is shot. Noah gives birth alone. And then, Briar bursts in to kidnap the baby.
But Noah, for the first time, doesn’t run away: he fights. The final scene shows her like we have never seen her before:
a mother who protects, who bites, who pushes… who chooses to live.
